I have mixed the 2 and i have alternated days, the results seem to be the same

Good to know pops. We need a chemist in the forum family here. At least I think a chemist could tell us.

Here is the extent of my knowledge. Vinegar and H2O2 are both acid and will not cancel each other out in that way- but in other ways, I know not.

Alternating days would do no harm at all and would be good for the birds, they do not need either every day

Still using both colloidal silver and H202, the animals and birds are healthier and colloidal silver will cure or get ride of CRD if it is bad H202 will keep it away, egg production is better the birds feathers are better.

I had a telephone conversation with a farmer out in Alberta who uses a combo of HP and ACV in all his livestock waterers, and has for years. He buys it in bulk. He swears by it. Always puts both in together, every day. About 1-1/4 oz. of ACV and 1-1/4 oz. of FGHP that he had diluted to 3% before hand in a gallon of water. This was what I tried, and I did notice better health in my birds and rabbits while using it. I just haven't found anywhere to buy it in bulk, so it got too expensive for me.

If neither are good there is a fellow here who sells it by the 5 gallon pail. I will get his contact info for you. Her may have some connections. He sells to farmers for their livestock and wells.

Just thought I would bump this thread again. All the talk of waterers has got me to thinking about my water...and I am not even at home!

I have been using H2O2 for a couple years now in the chicken and rabbit water. There has been marked improvement in a couple areas. The chicken water stays MUCH cleaner if it has to sit in a fountain waterer in the summer. No nasty slime or algae. In the winter I used to find the transition from indoor/outdoor runs to totally indoors has hard on the chickens and I would have a few sneezy hens each fall. This is better now and the whole respiratory health of the chickens has improved.
