SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!

Oh, what a wonderful day.

I wanted so badly to go visit my husband in Edmonton but I wasn't sure how to make it happen. I was supposed to work the night of his birthday, but then I had 3 days off. I have no idea what school is doing so I decided to disregard that because hey - I have been living with my life on hold for the past 4 weeks and 3 days while they have been on strike.

So...

A wonderful co-worker of mine decided to work my wednesday for me! And, when I looked online the flights are actually affordable for those days so... yippeeee! I'm going to see my husband for his birthday!!!!! I got my mom to book my flight so he can't see it, and I am going to surprise him at work when he gets off at 4.

And, as if that wasn't good enough, I also have chicks hatching today! I have the cutest 6 little chicks ever... the EE's that just hatched are almost tooooo cute to let them go to their new home... *sigh* What a great day.

Well school just threw a wrench in my plans. The strike is over, and instead of extending the semester, we have to finish 3 weeks of classes and exams by April 29th. Plus there is Easter Weekend in there, too.

Oh bother.
