I have been on the search for some weather stripping to replace the stuff on the door of my older model Ova Easy 190.
I have since realized that what i need is actually a magnetic strip that is sticky one side...it is 1/2 inch wide and has a very narrow height, kind of like those magnet strips you buy to make magnets with?
Anyone have any ideas what I could use or where I could find this? Question

Thanks for the links Lee, that is what I thought I needed at first but now I realize I need a very thin magentic strip w/adhesive backing...I managed to source some through officedepot.ca. so hope I ordered the right stuff...
Now I just have to get all the gunk glue off the bottom so it fits nice and flush....it had peeled off a bit at the bottom and had been reattached w/glue, probably not a good idea because I think that is why the door wasn't sealing properly, the glue made a hard bump...

Any good ideas on removing contact cement or gorilla glue? tongue
But the good news is I have time to work on that, my new OvaEasy 190 is humming away and up to temp for me already!

Lighter fluid is great for removing 'hard to remove' things, however I have not tried it on gorilla glue. But give it a shot and use one of those window scrapers with it.

Sometimes nail polish remover works too. I hadn't heard of lighter fluid before, will have to keep that in mind.
