I only have one hen that lays a dark egg. I really like them, I thought it was interesting the variation I am getting from day to day from her.
The really speckled one is 2 days after I put more oyster shell grit in the coop. They had actually been out for a couple of weeks.
I thought that was very interesting to. Haven't had another egg yet, but I am looking forward to seeing what the next looks like.

very pretty, like chocolate eggs, I am kind of envious of those, and they would never look stained after you clean them...
