Excellent article (the breeding one)! Lots of common sense, and I like how it emphasises selection and breeding for fitness traits, not just show traits.

Good Articles Coopslave.- We just got a new 4 month old puppy today so the article on chicken introduction will come in handy.
IPF- When breeding for show traits you should also be choosing your birds that are healthy and fit or there would be no point. Weak birds don't live here and I think most breeders of good exhibition poulty are choosing the same. Weak bird don't have good fertility or lay eggs.
