Name Change

I’ve out grown “Flicker chick” awhile ago, (Flicker was the name of a yellow budgie I had as a kid of all things, haha) and would like to change my forum name to our farm name. Hidden, is this possible? Or do I need to make a new account? Thanks in advance for your help.

LoL, you guys are funny! Never used flickr before in my life (photobucket is enough to suffer), and I'm sure my husband would agree with you uno. Old Irish temper and all.  

Miry, we're actually keeping the farms original name, which is Blue Hill Farm. It just makes sense because we have a huge mound to the east locals call Blue Hill. It even has a big painted rock on top and the best view for miles. On clear days we can see as far as Qu'appelle valley. It's pretty awesome.  

Hidden, I couldn't find anywhere that would let me change it. If you wouldn't mind, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

I find your new name very alluring, something about it conjures up a beautiful mountain (and I see a blue mountain in the background of the picture). Lovely, Blue Hill Farm, a very nice name, by the way, have an awesome night, days to follow, CynthiaM.

Thanks. Blue Hill's 'hill' is a slight exaggeration, but as far as hills go in SK its not too shabby.   I will have to take some better pics this summer to post. Hubby probably wishes it was a mountain, (he misses them a lot) but personally I like seeing the wide, open sky.

I like the new name too.  I always appreciate when a farm name reflects some historical tidbit.  

I'd like to name my little spread too but don't have any ideas.  Nothing so lyrical as a Blue Hill in my vicinity. Although I have jokingly thought of drawing on my French Canadian heritage and using the local 'hill/mountain' and becoming "Hullcar H'acres".    If you think of a QC French accent you'll get it.

I like it farmchiq, but have to admit I can't think with an accent, I'd have to hear it said out loud. My french speaking mother couldn't teach me French to save my life, and believe me, she tried.  

French speakers often put an H where no H exists, and can't speak the H when one is called for. So they say things like, "Hi like to 'elp when I can, but 'ow to do hit is sometime very 'ard."

Does that 'elp?

Tim Nutt does a joke about the French. He stayed at the 'ohtel, and they had a Hanswerin' service. At the ohtel!

 Actually it does. Maybe I'm not entirely hopeless after all. lol
