I have started working Night Shifts at work (11pm-7am) and they are awesome! Well i must say it takes a certin type of person to do them. But i honestly can say they are the only shift i LOVE and come home happy from, because i don't have to work with any (other) kids i hate, and think work is a social time, very few customers, and i get to clean that place, it's peaceful and relaxing. People are more happy at 2am than 2pm And truckers are cool peeps to. Sure there's the risk of something happening, but i mean the risk is there no matter what time of the day it is.
Hahaha, not sure if my boss loves me or hates me. all i know is i have to be one of there most dedicated(ahem following guidelines)part time worker (execluding Supervisors/Mangement). But i think i am the only part timer that they would trust to do things on Back Shift, and not just text/sleep/complain about it being slow.
So, question. Does any one else work in the night? I have been told i am crazy. And that 'it well hit me'. Not sure. But i get the after noon's off. I get to go to sleep in the coolest par of the day(during summer), get to see the sun rise, meet really great peeoples.
Ohh by the way i work at the nations fav. coffee shop. (Good ol' Tim Hortans!)
