I sewed this little number up for Doug. It would lend itself nicely to knitting. Everyone could use a mine hat.

I failed. Doug wanted a mine hat. But I guess a Dalek hat is much cooler.

what is a mine hat? I just googled it and am not sure if it is meant to be a hard hat sort of thing or a knitted one with big eyeballs on. Dalek is definitely cool. now I'm looking at everything through the eyes of a seamstress (can't quite say sewer cause it doesn't sit right with me!) , that doesn't look so easy to do.

And now I am on the search for a Dalek hat pattern.

In times of war, if you didn't want enemy ships coming into your territory, you would plant underwater mines in the area. The enemy ships would bump one of those pokey triggers and the mine would blow...along with the ship.

The hat is supposed to look like a navel mine.

Don't know if many people watch Futurama but I'd love to hit the slopes as Dr. Zoidberg.

yeah, what's wrong with them! My son said "is that Gimli?" I thought the guy who we saw flying down the hills at our local ski hill with his mohawk helmet attachment was pretty funky.

Really like the Yoda hat. Got a thumbs up from my boys, so did the Tardis one - Dr Who fans here.
