Long trip. Chase, that is near my neck of the woods, well, actually about an hour from my own neck of these woods. Was curious why Chase? Wondering what is there that you are inclined to go to there. Beautiful part of the Okanagan there and there are lots of members of our forum all within an hour or so of that place. I would suspect that you will be travelling through Vernon, lots of members in that area too. Maybe a tea party along the way, smiling. When you figure out which highway you will be travelling through to get to Chase, put out the word, Hwy 97 or 97A and then to 97B will all take you to Chase, no matter which way ya go. Oops, sorry, a little off topic, but just had to say....beautiful days, CynthiaM.

We are coming out to attend a wedding for my husband's younger cousin. They chose this beautiful location, so we figured it would be a good excuse to travel and attend the wedding as well. With all our chores and lack of people to do them we have to make the trip faster than I would like so not sure if there will be time for tea parties or not, although it would be great to meet some people off the forums. We are hoping to go up the 97, then not sure which is better, to continue on the 97 to Hwy #1 or take the 97A. By the time we get up to Vernon it will be late I imagine, we hope to stay a little while at Summerland and see the sites around there. We also have to meet up with coopslave for a quick bird pick up along the way Smile
Then all the way home on Sunday after the after effects of the wedding wear off, drunken

Wishing you a wonderful trip to the Okanagan of BC. Think of your forum friends that live in these areas as you pass through each town, and give a honk to mid air, smiling. You will love Chase, it is a most beautiful area, and would weather has been nothing short of fabulous. Time sure does have its way with not sharing very nicely when we are on the move, doesn't it. Safe travels, enjoy the wedding, and enjoy the trip. And today, have a most wonderful day too, CynthiaM.

Thanks Cynthia, we will defiantly enjoy our trip, lots of travelling but hoping we can split up the driving with stopping at some nice places along the way.
We do have a few animal drop offs now so will get to meet a couple forum people and some others as well. Smile

Today is a day to get packed up, get my daughter to her dentist appointment, then riding lessons, pick up the nieces that are doing chores for us while we are away and then home to sleep and leave in good time tomorrow. We are so excited about our trip, well not sure if hubby is yet, but he will be once we are on the road and no more work for him... Smile

That is funny that he crowed! None of they youngsters have been crowing since being put in the bachelor coop with the older rooster.
Glad they are a hit.
