Yikes! I bought square alfalfa bales for $4 this year and wheat straw for $2! I had three round bales delivered for $60 and they are huge! Kamloops straw must be gold plated!
Straw is ex[ensive here because very little comes from local sources. Transportation pushes up the price rom the Peace River area, Alberta or the Okanagan. I'm using some hay at the moment because we buy 1200 lbs of hay for $80.
