Great weekend

Well I thought I would share about our fun weekend.

The kids and I are down at chillawack fair with ten chickens and 2 ducks entered in the poultry show.

So I am pleased to share the mr white aka mike the call duck won best variety, best breed, champion bantam duck, champion waterfowl AND reserve champion aba bantam! Thrilling! I am also pleased that one of my Mille fleur d'uccle hens was best variety, best breed, champion feather leg AND reserve champion apa bantam!

The classes were large with lots of nice birds. I am sure heather will give her run down of the show!

Made it home tonight. Everyone is tired and the birds and children would not go to bed. Ducks wanted to keep playing in the sprinkler!

Weather was nice but today it was hot. Time to head home to the ac. Thankfully the birds travelled well despite the heat.

This makes me think it would be awesome if all show results were posted in the Events section. It would be great if whoever supplies the show announcements could follow-up with a list of results. Pictures are always a bonus, too!
