Hi
We have 2 eggs in the incubator from our ducks that turned out to be double yolked. There are 2 embryo's growing in each egg. Has anyone ever had these "twins" hatch?
They are day 23 and both embryos still appear to be growing well.
thanks

I have two like that in right now, they are humungous, and I have no idea if they will hatch either, just wait and see I guess, I am too curious not to try so...

I had a double yolk White Chinese goose egg last year hatch. They pipped but then I had to help them out, they need to push against the shell to actually zip and get out so with the other chick in there it doesnt work so well on their own.
The one was strong and would walk around the other never did lift it's head. We finally put down the weak one and the other one lived only a week before it too died. It never grew much so we knew something was probably wrong inside the baby, so sad.
I have never hatched any more, too heart breaking to see them die.
