We have a good dilemma. we have too many turkeys of different ages and are running out of room. How old do the poults need to be before you can put them with an adult pair. we have a hen and tom that have a house to themselves and we have some 5-6 week old poults that we would like to put in with that pair so we can move our Porter baby turkeys that are getting too big for their inside pen out to the barn that the 5-6 week old birds are in.
what is everyones experience in mixing ages of turkeys? advice please
Cathy

I have never had good luck introducing baby turkeys to adults, they always pick them or kill them.
How much older are the young turkeys than your porter's turkeys? They might be a better fit to introduce the porters to them instead of them to adults.
