Family Day...UNPLUGGED! Will you participate?

Family, Child and Social Services in Alberta, (FCSS) sponsors an unplugged day this Monday in Alberta, family day.

People are urged to give up their electronic devices for one day and spend time with their families. Many Albertan communities are participating.

I urge everyone who has a holiday on Monday to drop your electronics and do some family activities...who is in?!

BC had our family day last Monday.... I was anything but unplugged! I was recovering from the poultry show and working too!

All of you guys are my Family so if you all unplug I will be alone
But it is a good thing for those that have Family and can spend it with them

I was away for 2 weeks and unplugged the whole time - it was tough at first but then I really enjoyed it.

I think we are planning on pimping the coop this Family day. The kids can paint the new nest boxes and I will help hubby finish sheeting the inside and then maybe we can wash and set up the water system! Awesome coop is going to be awesome!

Probably not. This is a busy time of year for me, so I am constantly on some kind of device fielding e-mails, texts, calls, facebook messages ... sometimes all of those at the same time!

I might try to not turn on my computer until noon. We'll see how that goes.

I'm in we are spending family day cleaning barns and setting up lambing pens. Can't say I will be 100% unplugged all day but for the most part we will.

Hubby is not at home so won't be totally unplugged, but plan to do some big time family stuff! Lol

We don't get Family Day.

But we're having a huge storm that has shut everything down so it's almost as good. Turned to freezing rain now so I'm off to clear the yard before it gets even messier.
