Is there such a thing? There's loose cow mineral, what about Poultry!
If this exists, what brand is it under so I can try and find it.

Hidden River wrote:The $33 poultry grower supplement would be the same as the layer supplement. Generally it is a 35% pellet you mix out with the appropriate grain to increase your proteins and also add some minerals.
I was having an issue with my molting hens this winter and so I bought some 35% layer supplement, mixed it out with my grain mix and it really helped them along. You have to watch how you mix it though, too much protein will result in fat hens and decreased egg laying and increased laying issues (prolapses). And with the grower supplement to much protein can cause crooked toes, and too fast of growth leading to bone issues.
These packages are based on knowing what % protein your grains are you are mixing in. But adding in some here or there I think wouldn't hurt anything.
