I already have plans for next years planting going. Next year is a zucchini year as this year I planted sugar pie pumpkins (Mmmmm!), I want to do more peas next year, cukes are an obvious yes for next year, potatoes I'm not sure if more are required next year or less (depends on the harvest), I want to try sweet potatoes next year (probably won't work), and maybe broccoli if I can get something to cover the plants. We are also going to be yoinking some Nanking Cherries and Raspberries from my sister in laws homestead and maybe some horseradish if she can find some. As for the flower garden I want to do lilies, delphiniums, hollyhocks, and a greater color variety of the columbines. I want LOTS of color!

I'm not even done with this years garden and already all these plans! LOL

Most years I have my seed order almost complete before canning season is done. I live for "next year". I just finished picking 30 pounds of slicing cukes for the market today. Every year is better. There is some success, some failure, but the love of gardening is never deterred!
