It sounds like many happy and exciting events are in the works today but I have awoken with a sense of profound sadness. Our school principal died early this week after an amazingly long and positive battle with lung cancer. (Never smoked). When diagnosed he was supposed to live less than a half year but this amazing man pulled an extra year of life out of I don't know where and used it to continue to volunteer at his local school while keeping up his cancer treatment.
