I am looking for guineas and quail. The guineas I would like various colors. With the quail I am not looking for specific colors, but would prefer lines other than Perry's as I plan to get some from him. I am looking for 10 females and 3-4 males. Would like to get all come spring. Thanks

I have about 30 guinea right now but only one male that is purple and a white hen. The rest are pearl. The babies from that female hen bred back to either the pearl or that purple (they are all out together) produced what looks like lavendar babies. Very pretty.

I can collect eggs for you if you like in the spring.

Yeah, they are really prolific... i bet we found, outside of eggs we collected daily, 4 or 5 nests of 30 plus eggs....

I had a pair of pearls but the coyotes got them on me, and had found four young pearls only to have weasels take out 3 of the 4 so far. I have had a horrible time with my poultry!!

That's awful!

Maybe you need a LGD... we haven't lost an animal or a bird.
Dogs, keeps most predators away.

We have a Pyrenees/st Bernard cross who works awesome, but he does need to sleep sometimes and that is when the coyotes come in. He does an excellent job but there is only one of him. I wish I could convince hubby to let me get a second one but don't think that will happen anytime soon
