The wheat of today is already not the wheat of 100 years ago. It has been through so many changes/hybridizations our body no longer recognizes it as food. Anyone miss the golden fields of wheat waving in the wind? Now it is just stiff 1-2 foot stalks that no one takes pictures of any more. It is getting harder to feed our chickens healthy food than it is ourselves.
