processors?

Does anyone know of someone who will process chickens in the Edmonton area? I really don't want to take them all the way up north, or down south.

Messinger Meats at Mirror, Alberta is only about 2 hours south of you and they are a government inspected facility. They have been in business for I think about 5 years, but they are just now expanding to do poultry.

Other than Messinger Meats, about the only other inspected facility that does poutry is St. Paul . Also you might find a Hutterite colony that does processing, but not many do custom anymore. If not doing for sale, you might be able to find a mobile butcher who does chickens.
