I am selling one of my chantecler roosters. He is one year old and took second in variety at the Red Deer Show last Dec. This is a very nice rooster, good type, good colour and good size. His main flaw is a prominent transverse groove on his comb which is unfortunately common in Partridge chanteclers. He could be a little wider in the back as well, but he could certainly bring some nice qualities into a flock.
I will add some pictures of him tomorrow.
I have used him for the last two months with my hens but have now moved my other rooster in with them. I don't really want to carry him though next winter so am offering him at $35 if you pick him up at the farm or $45 if I box him up and meet the buyer at the UFA parking lot just off HWY 11 outside of Red Deer. If you are interested PM me or email me.
I will post pictures tomorrow for sure.
