HOw much fun is this: 25 white wyandottes for 2.76. The two most expensive chicks: white wyandottes and buff orpingtons - 49.50 for 500 chicks
The list is:
  • Leghorns
  • Barred Rocks
  • S.C. Rhode Island reds
  • Buff Orpingtons
  • Minorcas

How interesting. And look down below the chick to the left, they are selling comb foundation for honeybees. Interesting. Those are still two most important parts of some thing that we eat, things we bake and cook with, eggs and honey for sweetening. Wow, back then honey and eggs were such staples too, smiling that big smile. Where on earth did you get this from? Fascinating. That is right when my grandmother's family would have been getting Buff Orps every year for butchering.

Looks like the wire is sold per spool and the spools are measured by weight. At least I can't see anything about price per foot.

Fowler - it says "80 rod spool (1320 feet)" One rod=16.5 feet.
