whats the rules here, can i put a broody mama with her chicks in this sale or no?

Triple J you can bring your broody hen with her chicks. We just dont like young chicks alone because we dont have the facilities to keep them warm if they are by them selves.

I've been struggling with the decision to part with this lovely splash hen, but finally came to the decision to put her in the sale. She took Best of Variety-AOC Cochin at the NCAPA show in February, 2012. Since then I've hatched lots of her eggs that have resulted in beautiful babies that look just like her! So I thought I'd let someone else enjoy her now. She is so sweet and gentle, and productive! I will pair her up with a nice blue Cochin rooster so she won't have to go to a new home alone.
I'll also be bringing some 8 week old blue and splash Cochins, White Chantecler 2011 hen/rooster pair, plus 2 more Chantecler hens.

Here is the commission they charge at the sale. One of the lowest I have seen for a sale.

Boxes will be sold so much per bird or animal times the number in the box.

Commission will be per box, 20% on the first $100.00 and 10% on the balance, with a minimum charge of $3.00.

For any one wanting to bring young chicks or day olds we now will have a heated brooder in the arena to keep the chicks from getting a chill. We also accept walk in lots on sale day, you do not have to pre-book your birds in it is more convienent but we will still accept your birds if they have not been per booked.

What time is the last walk in consignment allowed and what time does the auction fun start at on Sunday?

It starts at 11:00 . I think they prefer the birds come in before the sale starts. But check with Doug , maybe he can confirm that .

Don't forget to visit the office staff. We will be accepting all baking,food and foot rubs for the office staff

Sadly due to my Crazy adventures this weekend I didn't have enough time, or room in the garage for that matter to be able to make two for the show.

I will still be there but no tractors to consign,
