Calling all Chickeny Rabbit people! Wetaskiwin show 2012

Are you coming to the rabbit show as well as the chicken show? You are? So we all have something in common, we all like chickens AND rabbits! Let's get to know each other, share and swap tales and lunch!

Who is interested in bringing a lunch item to share at the 2012 Wetaskiwin show, Saturday, February 18 during the rabbit show judging break. We could meet in the main building concourse, and have a fabulous shared indoor potluck picnic lunch!

Think about what you would like to bring and let us know here. Finger foods should work best.

So far the possibility of 8 adults and 3 children. This is going to be great!

For ease of eating I would like everyone to consider bringing a finger food. Soups, salads and nice rare t-bone steaks are lovely, but the main concourse of the building is rather a spare looking place in front of the arenas without formal tables. Sandwiches, hor'dorvres, chips, nibblies, canned drinks, cut up fruit and vegetables would probably be the easiest to eat. I will bring a table, picnic blanbket, napkins and paper plates as well as a yummy item. There are a few chairs but if you don't want to chance sitting on the floor you may want a foldable chair.

OOoOoO! Us too please. That would be me (Jess), Darrell, and our two young boys. If we make it to the show we would love to join in on a lunch time pic-nic with y'all. We can talk both chickens/bunnies, on cuddling AND eating them. "Taste the love!" We are multi talented that way..LOL. And we would bring something scrumptious! But, not sure if we will make it to the show yet...sure hope so!

Only three days to go people! Let's whet our appetites. What are you bringing to the potluck- If we make a list we will have fewer chances to have duplicates... and maybe lure more people in with our delicious delectibles!

Oh- I will have rabbit roll sandwiches and maybe deviled eggs!

Darrell's working this weekend. My Does have not finnished kidding. 14 baby goats so far and counting Lot's of late nights... checking, milking, bottle feeding, and disbudding.

Hope everyone has an awesome time! And look forward to reading about it on the forum!! Please DO post lots about it!...Need to get the burned in vision of goat bums outa my head...like staring at a light bulb to long
