This has never happened to me before. Generally if anything you get more males then hens from Coturnixs. Around 55% male, 45% hens. Two years ago I had three hatches in a row where I had over 70% males. This year, the opposite, the last two hatches (large hatches) have been over 70% hens.
I have 4 groups of ten hens each for sale. None older then 4 months. Some only 6 weeks old when I go down to Ty's sale on May 2nd.
I am selling groups of 10 hens (that's right, NO GUYS) for $60. If you only want eggs to eat or pickle or sell at a farmer's market, this is a great deal for you.
I will be driving to Edmonton on May 2nd. Leaving DeBolt around 8:30 am, going down highway 43, then highway 16x to the Devon bypass. I generally stop for people from Edmonto at the Husky super station just after you turn the corner onto the bypass. Then down to Leduc and the main highway down to Innisfail.
