I saw this and immediately thought of you, Uno. I am not sure if the subject matter is to your taste, but I found the white line tattoo very intriguing.

That is actually pretty cool. I would do something like that on my shoulder. She was very tasteful about her choice.

I can imagine this done in a lace pattern. It would be exquisite.

That is pretty cool, I wonder if you could get it done over a scar and blend it in?

It's actually done with scars. It's called scarification, rather than tattooing in some places.

I have seen both scarification as well as branding. It looks similar but seems to be more raised above the skin. I like the fact that this is smooth and just looks like your skin pigments are different.

This is a tattoo I would actually have done on myself.

Sue, I have been intrigued by these white tattoos! Spoke with my tattoo guy (yeah, like I'm covered head to toe with tats, NOT!) He said that the look of white tattoos is determined very much by your natural skin pigment. If you are one of those Caucasian people with blue/white skins, the white looks bright. The more Latin or Asian your ancestral influence, thus perhaps more sallow or olive toned skin, this makes the tattoo look more yellow than white.

He also said white is very prone to fading and should mostly be used in a place that is not exposed to the sun. He claims that on arms, for example, they are not a long lasting tattoo.

At my advanced age, how long a tattoo lasts is not a concern.

My thoughts exactly. In fact, if I had one done it would have to be in a hairless non wrinkly place, and I have few of those left.

My skin is pale, so this may look nice. Wonder what it looks like under a tan.

Hairless and wrinkle free...the bottom of my foot comes to mind. No. Wait. I've been accused of having feet like a Hobbit, although I do believe they had hairless soles.

THey are not supposed to be exposed to the sun and if you do you have to use SPF Bazillion.

Get one! Dare you! Double dare!

No sun eh? That really narrows it down. Guess it will have to be butt or boobs. But what is the point if you can't show it off?

Wait a minute...this is all about YOU!

No..I thought you said YOU might like one of these.

Find a design you like and sketch it on yourself with Sharpie. I've done this. Sharpie looks nothing like a tattoo. Even less like a white one.

If I were into EPIC tats, this would be my guy. I have contacted him and he does not do little tats. He does big works and you wait over a year to get to see him. I have seen lots of tats, having been cruising the net for a long time, and this guy's work stopped me in my tracks. Skilled.

You could always tattoo so as to use hair to your advantage.

I wonder if a tattoo of a shar pei could be used to cover up wrinkles. That's not wrinkles, it just my tattoo!

Or, on the bottom of your foot. Just something that says, "If you can read this, you asked for it".
