I copied this from a facebook status of one of the most amazing 25 year old young woman that a person could ever meet.  This will be my challenge for 2014!

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.

Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing thing you've never done before, and more importantly you're doing something.

So that's my wish for you and myself. Make new mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody's ever made before. Don't freeze, don't stop, don't worry it isn't good enough, or it isn't perfect, whatever it is: art, love, work, family or life.

Whatever it is you're scared of doing, do it!

I love it Echo.
I am a huge believer in making mistakes, just not the same ones over and over again.  How do you ever learn new things without mistakes?

I have a personality flaw... I am too cautious, I lack spontaneity, I spend too much time over thinking things and worrying about what MIGHT happen but almost never does. When I saw this post from my friend's daughter I decided to try it.... HECK YAH I AM GOING TO TRY SOMETHING NEW and maybe make a few mistakes along the way!

They're not mistakes, they're just rough drafts.

I guess I'm doing well, because I haven't made this many mistakes in a day at work EVER. Lots and lots. Btw, a 55 ft tanker does NOT fit in a 33 ft space...in case you were curious. Smile

Makes my large McDonald's coffee trying to squeeze into my keyboard seem like a silly little mistake.  pale
