HI

Lovely birds: calm, gentle and productive.

One  male, five females (at least I'm pretty sure it's five).

Two are laying right now... silly birds.

Not keen to sell them separately (4 adults are coming up for 2 years old in Feb 2014, proven breeders, and 2 females from this year's hatch - they are 7 months)

Can deliver to Cranbrook area, maybe Calgary way if possible.

I want them. something fierce. but I am trying to sort out some good wintering for them or else I am committing to caring for animals not properly right??? I have a house, I know that. worried about winter water for them....

I told Mister when you posted this, probably seconds after the posting went up. he said Happy Birthday (what an easy way out Mister!! dang, not making it that easy for him ahaha)

If you still have them in December I would be interested, but I don't know how i would get them here in December....we won't be moved until then, and there is no way I can take them now. Having huge raccoon problems at my (soon to be) old place and no room for geese....

Although the noise of geese would be fun for a last hurrah to really get my nieghbors...lol

Well, they don't need huge winter accommodations - shelter and probably some straw to have as insulation. A water bucket filled each day for dunking heads in and drinking.

They do need, like any birds, some sort of protection from predators.

They aren't going anywhere... they will be living on the farm until I can find them a home Smile

I'd love a few more females - I have more than enough Toulouse ganders right now, but I just can't face the drive to your place. I hope someone get them who loves them.

Well I do have to make a trip at some-point to your place for the milking machine....before March....hmm.....wouldn't matter much if I filled the back of the truck with geese, hubby wouldn't notice. I convinced him to buy me the milking machine for a Christmas Present...isn't that sweet of him? Smile

Dang... too bad I'm not on a regular driving route nearer you folks

I could get them as far as Kamloops maybe on November 3rd...

I don't have anyone to cover for me for chores for November. Otherwise I'd be tempted to meet you in K'loops.

Dang!

Hmmm. We have a very important negotiation tomorrow, and if it goes well I might be in for meeting you in Kamloops. And I could meet you regardless for that other item that hubby is buying for me for Christmas. Smile. I could wrap it, put his name on it, and be all surprised for Christmas. Smile

Brilliant, except I can't bring both your Christmas gift and the geese in the vehicle I will have.. not enough room!!!

The geese will want to sit in the passenger seat and give advice anyway!
