Our son (13 years old) loves wood crafting, especially wood burning.
His grandparents in Holland would like to see some of his work, but instead of emailing pictures we are sending them a "Welcome sign".
My dad has Seramas, so we thought that would be nice to burn on the sign as well.
I think our son did a very good job Smile
I'm sure my parents will be very pleased to receive such a personal gift from their grandson.

That is awesome work Anna. Is he going to have any for sale at Ty's sale this year?

Very impressive. I like the way he used the knot and grain at the top. It looks like a sky.

That is something to be proud of. For a thirteen year old? Very impressive.

Thank you Smile
@ hidden river;
he is planning on making some stuff for Ty's sale.
We have to get some nice wood at Michaels yet, but he sure is planning to bring some along.

Tell your son job well done.
If my grandson made me a sign like
that I would love it and I am sure
they will too.

That's so great Anna. Good for him. I'm guessing his grandparents will be touched by his thoughtfulness and talent.

It's maybe not perfect, but as ChicoryFarm says, I know they will be touched. It took him hours to get it all done. We just download some drawings from the internet, he traces it over on the wood and after that he has to burn it all. The patience he has to do this.
