wow thats a lot of snow Dan!
It is blizzarding here today, sent the kids home on the buses early but more because they have no water in town right now.

Had to get to town to send eggs so I did that, but glad I don't have to travel anywhere else today.

I like your green painted run, very nice, what do you have for a roof is it a tarp or wire?

It is chicken wire. If I was to do it over again I would use stucco wire. I really can't complain because I built these 12 years ago and they have stood up so far. What is funny is that every winter the weight of the snow makes the poles lean inward but later in summer they always straighten themselves out. I think that this summer I will put treated wood braces between the top from run to run so that they won't lean inward.

Snowing here now too, was so windy this am blew all the snow around nothing really settled much, maybe 1" max. We are still under a snow warning but hopefully the wind blew it past us.
That is a lot of snow you guys got again...

We have had rivers running all over our property all week and things were just starting to look like it might be dry enough to actually start doing things outside and then this came along. It is sunny now and melting again like crazy. Yeah for the sun

sunny

Still snowing here .... wind has died down though. Only thing making today a good day is a HATCH! I was not overly optimistic for this hatch ... shipped eggs that had VERY damaged air sacs. Well, to my surprises 18 of the 21 shipped Light Sussex chicks were out this am and I here more peeping from the bator. I will remove chicks again after supper. Think I need a hatcher

Anyone have a Sportsman Hatcher for sale? Or know where to get one. Berryhill is $900 and SureHatch is $500 but they dont ship to Canada Sad

I think she meant BH is expensive at $900.
The US company is cheaper at $500 but doesn't ship.
