ONCE the snow melts,...... am getting my 'broody coop' together. Was thinking of having a couple Silkies to help hatch out the other eggs. Would that be asking for a fight, as the rest of the birds are standard size.
At our previous farm, had a huge coop with mixed hens and was no issue, but here they would be separate.
