Good morning everyone!! We have 4 pips this morning out of 26 eggs in the incubator! I borrowed a friends Hovabator to hatch some mixed breeds. We have had 3 power outages and temp/humidity issues for the whole setting time. My 8 yr old son got up and checked them with a flashlight at 2 am and nothing. Then he came running into our bedroom excitedly yelling this morning "The chicks are hatching! The chicks are hatching!" My first response was to jump up and now with room spins, sputter out "What time is it?" He almost missed the school bus this morning.
