Well, we have one living in the shed that is attached to the house. I think there is also one down in the barn at the ranch. They do have a very distinct smell.....
Anyways, some advice on how to get rid of them would be good. They are to big for the cats and we don`t happen to have a terrier! Very Happy Hidden, I bet yours would make short work of it!
So lets hear some ideas. The barn is a bit tougher as we have lots of barn cats and I think live traps would just be full of cats all the time. Rolling Eyes

Believe it or not this will work and very very safe.

Found out about this product by accident and was so impressed, this product is SAFE you could even eat it, it keeps mice and rats away good for 6 months a pack per 400 square feet, it is sold under the brand name RODENT ODOR FREE six satchels per package and under the name JIs Mouse Deodorizer 4 small boxes per pack. Both names are misleading but what the product does is keeps mice and other rodents out of the building. It has a repulsive smell to rodents but not to any other animal bird or human, it was explained to me that it causes them to become dizzy and unable to walk so they stay away from the buildings. I have tried it and it works GREAT.
