Little Feet

Little Feet ,running as far as was meant
I still remember the day you were God sent
No one knew what that day would bring
No one knew that the Angels would sing
 
I see your face ,laughing as you went
never knowing what to be was meant
You were my friend then as you are now
you were the first to take that bow
 
The tears I shed I never regret
Ever so glad that we had meet 
The days they pass the years have gone
But in my mind your memory still lives on
 
Your days and your time was o so slight
Your smile your laughter come to me in the night
Till that day that we meet
I'll remember you , little feet  


In memory of My first child hood friend who was killed in a tragic car accident at the age of seven years old ..............

And I was just thinking we haven't had a good poem here in a long time! The loss must have had quite an effect on you at such a young age.

Sad for the loss. Happy that your friend is remembered.
