Incubator Humidity and Temperature

I found this on Ebay and figured it would be great for those that do not have a way to test temperature and humidity in your hovabators, or other incubators. Looks very interesting, never used one but thought I might order one up to go with the "gift" i purchased at Red Deer for my daughter.

Looks very similar to one I had a couple of years ago. Now I just had a unit that is about the same size and the whole thing sits in there - there's no probe. The unit worked great, but somehow the probe got busted off and I couldn't repair it. So it's a good thing if you can keep it from getting damaged (it might have been a puppy so totally avoidable).

I looked up incubatorwarehouse.com, they ship to Canada, I wonder if it would be cheaper to get it on e bay or order direct?
I have never used ebay, I am light years behind the times.

Basically on ebay you are buying direct from their store, you can bid on them and get them for slightly less than the store itself, most of the time I just buy direct, easier than waiting for the auction to close, and their reserves are not that much lower than actual price anyways.

It looks like it will do the job. I have one similiar but it is remote so there is no wire going to the sensor so with that one you will need to knotch the styrofoam so that the lid can close tight with the wire going into the bator unless you don't use an automatic turner which means then you can run your wire through the notch which was meant for the auto turner wire.

Sp Dan where did you get yours and what brand is it?

I have one of those and it works well for me. I will buy one more for the second hova-bator.
