My second hatch ever! I hatched 21 out of 22 eggs. That last egg is still in the bator, but it looks odd upon candling, so I'm not holding out hope.
These are Chantecler and some mystery Chantecler crosses (hens were free range before I got them, and I started collecting eggs soon afterwards), plus one White Cornish in there somewhere from Schipperkesue.
The greyish ones are likely Splash Orpington crosses. I am calling them Chantingtons because it sounds fancy. I have already found them a new home with a friend, since I am a chicken snob and don't really want non-purebreds at this point. (Let's not talk about my two olive eggers because PRETTY EGGS.) Also, rehoming them is my first official act of CHICKEN ENABLING so now I am part of the club. Mwahahaha!

I suspect some of the yellow ones will end up being Buff or White Orpington crosses (again, free range mysteries!), but I won't know for sure until they get bigger. I will be on the look out for buff colouring and single combs!
