So uh, not duck related but don't waste time on barley straw as an aglea deterant, cause it don't work much if at all. Rick tried it some years back.
Whatever seems to eat algae in a pond (waterfowl or fish), seems to poop enough back that the green keeps on growing and going along happily. Sigh.
Good thing tho, a green watered pond is a healthy very alive one. Hee hee...
