Right now, yes it is. Yuck! I know it won't last, but it doesn't mean I have to like it!!!!

Snowing here too. Adding to the six foot drifts. And I am hauling feed... Sigh.

Snowing here too - and it was almost all gone!! Fortunately I went to town yesterday hauling the flat deck and the GMC Tracker which needed new brakes. Driving home (flat deck loaded with new hog penning) we drove through pelting rain, pelting ice and wet snow. At various points the road was completely dry and then deep in slush then completely dry again.

But now everything is white. Poor cows - first day of calving!

been snowing here since yesterday afternoon--- after we got a really nice shot of freezing rain!! a good layer of black ice on the road (some idiot just about put us into the ditch! sure got the heart going there for a minute or two!!)

blech. I know the snow tends to go quickly at this time of year, but I am really sick of the grey and the snow.


BUT. then again. I have a whole bunch of sewing and spinning to catch up on this week, so maybe some cruddy weather is well-timed for me

Sunny and gorgeous and melting now!

Well at least sunny and melting. I got chilled feeding from the tractor and have come in to warm up. All the new snow is gone already though, at least at our altitude - lots of new snow on the mountains!

It hasn't stopped snowing all day, but it isn't sticking, just turning into mud. Even the sheep don't want to go out in it. The chickens all look pathetic.

No snow here today although earlier the forecast tonight was for snow flurries, but that has been changed to just cloudy. Still some rain in the 7 day forecast. Our snow is gone now.

we had about 5cm here today, and wind.So, my 13ft drigts that had gotten down to 11ft drifts are, once again, 12ft drifts. Oh, and there's NEW drifts. As I check my ap right now, they have suddenly removed all of the snow from the forecast until Saturday, when we expect another 5-10 and Sunday another 10-15.

But that'll all change and hit by thursday and there's no plus temperatures in store anyway.

I'm a winter person, however *Shakefist* IS SPRING!!!!!!!!!

So did Manitoba really get it with way the radar showed? I really pity you guys when the melt starts!

......some parts might have gotten a bit ,but where we live it just covered the ground with a skiff of the white stuff ..........and I'm so glad !....it does a little bit then melts ,which is going okay I guess ? not a fast melt so it's basically going down as it melts ...............BUT IT"S COMING ! Heard that in the USA ( Fargo ) they are getting ready for as they put it ...It will be one of the top Five worst floods that they have on record ? but we'll see what happens as it melts etc

I hope its not too bad. One year I had water 2 feet from my house. Had sandbagged but it never cvame up that high.I am no where near the river it was all overland flooding. I could of use the rubber dingy and paddled allover my land.
