I feel we need a little background here. Too big for a silkie, in fact too many legs for a chicken, period! And that pink hair! Do you realize you just missed Valentines day?

Sue- meet Louisa aka LouLou Lemon, aka LouLou. She is our Standard Poodle and such a wonderful girl she is. Louisa is almost 2 yrs old and I trim her myself(years of trimming dogs for a living)She always has a dyed pink topknot and ears which everyone who meets her loves. I can't think of a more photograhed dog in our area and travels. That pink is about 6 weeks in as it fades somewhat with time. I just did her last night and it is really intense right now.

Pinking her as we call it was actually my husband's idea. She is a great dog lots of fun as only a Standard Poodle can be, the hit of the dog park(such a clown) as she is just so personable and on top of it she loves to fetch. It's all about fun for this Daddy's girl.

The only thing that adds a kink to her fun is our 14 yr old Chihuahua who strikes the fear of death into poor Lou's blissful, funfilled life.

Can you tell we love her. Actually she's very well behaved and easy too live with.

Your man has to be a keeper Very Happy Not many would suggest a pink dye job and on a poodle, no less. Wonderful!

Mike actually is the manager of a commerical sheet metal shop with lots of manly men around and our "Pinky" who is very hot pink today with her new dye job, went to work today with "Dad" as she usually does at least once or twice a week and they all love her. I am very lucky as is LouLou Lemon.

Your welcome Sue. Actually after always having Dobermans, and Rottie's for most of my adult years as my chosen large breed of dogs thou I always said sometime I would like to have a Std. Poodle(As I love the look when they are well groomed) That time finally arrived in our life and being able to groom her myself is a plus as I trim her about 4 weeks. Iwould never have one if I had to take her out for grooming as I like her looking not trimmed all the time and no way we could afford it as I have had groomers quote $120.00 up for a trim and one $160.00 for her type of clip What a Face affraid

Lou is very very respectful of our little old lady, who has sucked her human parents into waiting on her hand and foot. But that aside our little one is only 4lbs and Lou will be laying on the couch and if the the little furry devil comes up her little stairs on to the couch Lou gets the fear of death in her eyes and will immediatley vacate. But it's nice to know that she would never intentionally hurt the little one.
