Yes crazy wind here today and we have to head to Lethbridge of all places...And pulling a stock trailer on top of it, YIKES! Going to be an interesting, gas guzzling drive today.

We had a hard wind most of the way home to Cranbrook last night. My trailer wagged like a dog tail all the way home. Got home to find the Christmas lights blown off the house and the trampoline hanging off the lawn deck. The tent my DH parks his truck in is bolted the heavy 2X6's that are stacked 3 high so really heavy, blown into Cathy's car! Cathy's car saved my travel trailer, but didn't hurt her car thank goodness, thanks Cathy Smile
Cold wind too.....

Yea, the wind is blowing like a hurricane here too. My landlord is out seeding, as if it wasn't bad enough to have a late spring but to have to plant is this, Mad yikes.
I have some red fife wheat I want to plant, hopefully today,if they get the other crops in. Its just one bushel
I was just going to broadcast it by hand but Ray want me to use a seed drill so I have to wait for someone to show me how to use it. A great learning experience though.
Being a born and raised city girl this is all quite new to me.
The chickens are hiding in the coop, I finally closed the door since they clearly wanted no part of this wind.
