Barter, swap idea....

Hubby has been ripping the butt out of his jeans. This happens cause this time of year he spends a lot of time on the horse treating calves and riding pens.
I was thinking if anyone needs denim for chicken saddle, I would be happy to send these jeans to you for nothing if in exchange you send me a few chicken saddles. The jeans would be washed, but may be stained, dirty man. I think I have 3 or 4 pairs right now, I would have to have a serious look. I just hate to throw them out if they can be used for something else.

I would happily make some up for you!! absolutely

thanks for the good morning laugh, seriously!!! You have no idea what images were conjured up in my mind until I read along further. Funny how different people wear out different parts of their pants. Me. I wear out the left knee of my jeans. Why? I don't know, I am right handed. Hubby, he wears his jeans out because he ALWAYS catches the thigh part of something and has like an L-shaped rip, I can sew those, but it looks puckered

Where's that pattern for chicken saddles? I gotta make some, I got some old jeans too (just gotta get them from the cupboard when Hubby isn't looking). they are too perished to really wear, but you think he will give them up? Nope.
