Well, we have a lovely little creek that runs through the ranch. It is called beaver creek and it babbles along the rocks and looks and sounds pretty for most of the year except when it is frozen over or very low in the summer. Well this is what it looked like today!!!!!! Shocked

It has not caused to much trouble on our ranch.......yet, but the people down stream have really copped it with flooding and one person can`t get across their drive as it is very much under water. There is a forcast for very warm weather Saturday which will cause more snow to melt in the mountains and then rain on Sunday. We are not out of the woods yet for flooding!

There is a creek around here that isn't very big but constantly emits an inane high pitched tone. The young kids like it but I think it's overrated.

I call it Bieber Creek.

What a lovely little creek you have! And you are even luckier to have a creek that doesn't cause you too much inconvenience when it floods.

Just drove from the West Kootenays, in BC to Milo, Alberta today and saw lots of swollen creeks and rivers and flooded fields. Looked somewhat disturbing.......

Well, we lost the main bridge today. Not a little bridge either, very well built. One bank gave right away and the bridge sunk about a foot. We have chained it to the excavator to stop it from being washed completely away (what a mess that would make) and we are keeping our fingers crossed the cement supports on the other side don`t get washed away too.
The creek is down about a foot today, but the warm weahter tomorrow and rain on Sunday may make things very interesting!

That looks like a raging river not a babbling brook. Lou
