Bill Nye, who produced all those wonderful children's science videos did a season of higher level videos as well called "The Eyes of Nye" for Jr. and Sr. high students. Here is an excellent one that does a fine job of discussing genetically modified food in a somewhat neutral way, though by now it is somewhat dated (produced in 2005). If you are confused, this is a great way to start your research. Bill Nye himself is a scientist who promotes questioning and skepticism.
