It was cold and windy outside today but the sale went over very well. The booths were nice, the buyers were very steady, glad my DH and girls were there to help out.
Friends of mine from Regina were not sure last night how things would go and they were sold out before noon.
We did well, taking a few pairs home, but that leaves more for the next sales to come.
Was great to see so many people interested in the heritage breeds. Some getting back into them after years of being out of chickens.
Was great to see so many familiar faces too.

That is good to hear! Was hoping despite the freaky snowstorm it would go over well...

I agree it seemed like a very good sale. I was not there selling but
had a chance to look around and it seemed very busy and seemed that
a lot of birds were changing hands.

Jayme it was great to meet you personally and the Bourbon Red poults
that we bought from you look great. They seem very comfortable in
their new surroundings and I think that they will do very well. By
next spring when they are old enough they will make "Jack" our Bourbon
Red tom very happy - not that he is unhappy with his Narragansset hen
and 2 Ridley hens now but will be nice for him to have some fellow
Bourbons around. Thanks again.
