Pick your own pairs or trios, 25 to choose from. Or make an offer on all of them they are all being let go. $20 per pullet.

Never said that, no, Jayme I understand your curiosity to make that assumption however that is always an unwise course of action with me, basic rule with me is never estimate or assume anything. I find nothing wrong with them they are completely healthy and I trust your word they are good egg producers,,as far as Im concerned they are exceptional eye candy which is testament to your breeding skills. I have my own reasons, personal and valid, they must all go and soon and that is all Im willing to publicize on this subject, REGRETTABLY.

It is too bad I am not closer, I would for sure buy back all the pullets from you. Sorry you have to let them go but I do understand that sometimes some birds just have to go, things change.

Something tells me you are going to be eating a lot of Orloff cockerels, Renny! What kind of a carcass do they have? I have heard they are meaty, but they don't look it.

These are hard to tell male from female, the females look very boyish, there are near as I can tell 15 pullets and 10 cockerels.

I always end up mistaking a few cockerels as girls at this age, so everyone be mindful of that when asking Reneggaide to sex them for you, you will not get 100%.
A couple things to look for is darker birds, the females tend to have less white on them at this age then the males, also you are right reneggaide the males will stand more errect than the females. Also look at the legs, the males have very scrawny looking legs (look at the male in the front of the picture), the tail base as well you can see the saddle feathers falling away from the tail that is starting to stand out a bit, females will not show this. And lastly the combs, the redder, wider combs are the males.

These boys do mature into nice meaty birds for eating but take much more time, like a cochin would, they put their size into their framework first then to the meat. They are meatier than an ameraucana in the lines I have of the Ameraucana's, but wouldnt be as meaty as a chantecler or buckeye would.
The males are very friendly, nice to their hens, and to people. I also find they do not survive well when put in with a rowdier bunch of roosters for winter so watch that as well. The hens seem to do well in any environment, my girls hung out with their roosters all winter in a 6X8 uninsulated house and they did very well.

Thanks Jayme, good tips. I only did a quick count of tail feathers with green sheen, all my other tells were too obscured to be sure of.
If someone is interested in taking all of them for a starter flock, which was my intention, Id be willing to negotiate a pretty decent price. I think these would be great for a free range environment, tho they havnt touched ground yet.
One trio is spoken for, possibly 2.

Assumptions are fun!
Maybe Reneggaide's Chanteclers have become suspicious of the Orloffs. They are convinced they are Russian spies and are demanding that they leave! Or else... bom
