more spurs than you need

Hi . I took my new barred rock rooster out to look him over and I found
out he has double spurs. There are small ones growing above the larger
ones he is supposed to have. My question is how bad of a
disqualification is it and should he be used for breeding? I got him
from a local guy but didn't get a chance to examiner him before he came
home .
