Cuckoo maran roo

I now have to replace my cuckoo maran roo. He decided life was not worth living and drown himself. It was really weird I was watching my chickens and happened to notice he had gotten in my duck pen (which is nothing unusual). I was watching him just strolling around the duck pen when all of a sudden he made abeeline for the pond. He walked straight into the pond as if he had not even seen it. He was dead before I could get there to save him as I was holding my baby and needed to put her in her crib where she would be safe from her 2 year old bro.

Hmm..He sounds like a good contestant for a Darwin award. I hope you have success finding a replacement...hopefully one that does not wish to end his life in a duck pond!

I guess I should have given him a better name, but his suited him. I called him Bonehead Chicken because he was scared of everything and not the smartest bird in the henhouse!! I think he had identity issues as he preferred to be with the ducks, the dog, the cat, and even the gator when the kids were driving it!

I may have a spare one. If you know a way to get him to your place....
