I will have Dominique eggs available to ship at the end of May/beginning of June. I am getting about 1 dozen nice sized pinkish tan eggs each day.
I do not usually sell eggs unless the person has had previous hatching experience and has a cabinet or good quality incubator.
I do have foam egg mailers that hold each individual egg and they fit in a 12 x 12 x 4 inch box which I then pad and put inside a 14 x14 x 6 inch box. I would recommend Priority Post, Greyhound or Courier for your eggs depending on where you are located.
I would like $25/ dozen for the eggs and the packaging/dozen is $5.
So the total cost would be $60 for two dozen eggs plus shipping.
I can send up to 4 dozen at a time depending on availability.
There are always risks with shipping eggs and we are at the mercy of the shipping service.
I do not guarantee hatchability but I have been getting 80-90% fertility and hatchability in my Dominiques this Spring.
My current flock I raised myself but I originally obtained birds from several different breeders in the U.S. and in Eastern Canada in 2010.
I have showed my birds in Wetaskiwin, AB in 2010, the Canadian National in Armstrong, BC. in Nov. 2011 and in Red Deer in November 2012 with a cockerel and cock taking Best of Breed.
I am a member of the Dominique Club of America and strive to breed birds to the APA Standard.
