Cok-A-Do-Dool-Doo!! I have a customer who wants 5-10 max Silkie Hens. With in Kelowna to Vancouver. From chick to 4 months, treated for merricks or from healthy parent flock.

So to further hijack the thread- where did you learn your English, Piet? Did they teach you in school?

My cousins in Germany certainly speak better school English than I can speak school French!

Yes in school for four years, from age 12 to 16 and then you can go for two more years if you choose too. Once I went to college for Horse showjumping and dressage I did not learn English anymore, but still was taught German as that is real important to know in the horse world in Europe. My English had gotten better since I came to Canada, but I am told that I still have an accent. I speak Dutch best off course, then German, then English.

Can't speak to European language education but Canada'a isn't what it used to be. My French in school was simplistic. I've learned as much on my own as I was taught in school with the moronic repetition, "Le chat mange le poisson."

My wife did French Immersion starting in Grade 7 and she is bilingual. Not perfectly, mind you, but she can certainly function in French.

Our kids started French Immersion in grade one and their French surpassed their mother's at Grade 3.

I have silkie chicks for sale but not vac for mareks.
I will be on my way to Kelowna on the 7th of next month.
