Welbars Wanted

Looking to buy Welbar Hatching Eggs in North America. Can anyone spare a few? Any and all leads appreciated. PS will be away 'til April 3rd. Thanks in advance- Terry

The original cross is Welsummer and Barred Rocks. They are bred in such a way that they become a bit of a hybridized cross and breed true to type. They are also sexed at day old. A lovely, pretty bird.

I have always fancied Barnbars, but that is probably because they are a Barnevelder X Barred Rock. They have a very cool feather pattern. It takes, I think, about 3 years after the first cross to have the birds breeding true to type.

Google them, I have seen some great pictures. Have a friend in Australia that developed RhodeBars.
